Jessica Pomerenke was named NAIA Scholar Athlete as announced and released by the NAIA earlier this week. Nominated by each institution's head
coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior academic status to qualify.
Pomerenke, a junior math education major from Sioux City, finished the season with a 4-9 record at #3 singles and led the Raiders, along with doubles' partner Kate Mannenbach, with a 6-3 record at #3 doubles. She also earned all-conference honors in doubles play.
