Carthage 3 Northwestern 0Northwester dropped to 1-1 after a 3-0 loss to Carthage College at the Buena Vista Tournament on Saturday morning. Northwestern was out-shot 27-5 for the game and the Raiders had three shots on goal to Carthage's 16. Becca Hurley had three shots, one on goal to lead Northwestern. Serah Bugler and Katy Phillips also had a shot for Northwestern. Kelley Salem played all 90 minutes in goal for Northwestern and made 13 saves. Northwestern will get back on the grass this weekend when they head to Bemidji, Minnesota for the Bemidji State "Super 8 Fall Classic." Northwestern will face Bemidji State on Friday night and will take on MSU Moorhead on Saturday afternoon.
