Leah Aragon (Colorado Springs, Colo.) has signed a national letter of intent to continue her soccer career at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa starting in the fall of 2008.

Aragon, the daughter of Quintin and Charlene, is a 5-2 midfielder/forward at Palmer High School. Last season, as a junior, Aragon scored eight goals and had six assists while earning the teams most improved player award along with the most valuable player award. Aragon has earned four varsity letters at Palmer under head coach Jim Keller. Aragon is also a member of the honor roll at Palmer.

Aragon plans to major in Environmental Science at Northwestern.

"Leah is an excellent attacker with outstanding speed with the ability to finish," said head coach TJ Buchholz.
