Raiders Drop GPAC Contest 4-2

Dordt defeated the Raider women's soccer team 4-2 Wednesday afternoon in Sioux Center. Northwestern scored a goal in both halves but Dordt managed two goals in both the first and second half, including two goals in the last 20 minutes of play. Both teams scored two unanswered goals in the match, but Dordt accomplished the feat twice.

Macy Rozeboom led the Raiders with four shots, Jamise Retzlaff shot twice, once on goal, and scored a goal, Serah Bugler had one shot; a goal to tie the contest at 2-2 in the second half. Carrie Van Wyk, Heather Corbin, and Allise Vugteveen also had shots for Northwestern, who has lost their last four matches. Kelley Salem made seven saves and allowed four goals. Kristi Ouwinga had two goals for the Defenders, Kate DuMez had one goal and two assists, and Noelle Kreykes had a goal.

Northwestern wraps up the regular season on Saturday at Fremont, Nebr. versus Midland Lutheran at 1:00 p.m.
