Northwestern scored a season high six goals and goalkeeper Kelley Salem recorded her second shut-out of the season in a 6-0 win over Mount Marty on Tuesday afternoon. Northwestern scored three goals in both the first and second periods. Northwestern had 36 shots and 24 shots on goal against Mount Marty's seven and five. Keeper Salem made five saves.
Macy Rozeboom notched a hat trick, netting two goals in the first period and one in the second. She also assisted on one of Allise Vugteveen's two goals. Rozeboom led Northwestern with seven shots on goal, Vugteveen had six, Brittany Osborn had three, Becca Bruns, Carrie Van Wyk, and Jamise Retzlaff all had two, while Chelsea Goulet, and Serah Bugler posted one shot on goal.
Rozeboom, with her three goals and assist, now has four goals and four assists for the Raiders. Vugteveen has three goals on the season and Osborn, who scored in yesterday's match, has two goals on the season. Serah Bugler collected an assist on the Osborn goal yesterday and now has one assist this season.
Northwestern will play Concordia Saturday afternoon in Orange City at the soccer complex. Start time is set for 1:00 p.m.
