The Red Raider women's soccer team, which reached the regional tournament, for the first time in school history, in 2006, was picked to finish fifth in the 2007 GPAC pre-season poll. NWC finished with 95 points, behind Morningside (134), Midland Lutheran (128), Nebraska Wesleyan (113), and Dordt (102). Six coaches picked Morningside to win the league, four picked Midland Lutheran, and three chose Nebraska Wesleyan.
Coach Buchholz, in his first year as the women's coach, will return six starters and 15 letterwinners from last years squad that went 10-9-1, and 7-4-1 in the GPAC.
