In the Red Raiders second dual of the day Northwestern again started behind the eight-ball, giving up six points, via forfeit, at the 133 pound weight class.  Dowell quickly evened the score, pinning Nick Marcus in 3:56.  Dowell set the tone for the dual and Northwestern's momentum continued as Price pinned Lee Beemer in 2:55.  Noel won a decision 8-6 over Semir Duric and David Carter added the Red Raiders' third pin of the dual, taking down Logan Sillman in 1:00.  Martin Beeler lost a major decision 9-1 to Kody Koster to make the score 21-10 in favor of Northwestern.  Tom Eaton, wrestling at 184 lbs., won a 8-3 decision and freshman Nic Leither pinned the fourth Beaver wrestler, Kevin Chilton, in 1:55.  Hughes was pinned in 2:08 to cap the wrestling action, but the Northwestern damage was done and the Raiders came away with a 30-16 victory.

Northwestern fell to 2-2 in GPAC action but moved to 3-6 overall.  The Raiders will take the mat again on Jan. 30th when the travel to Waldorf for non-conference wrestling.
