Aaron Schmidt

Head Assistant Coach

Schmidt graduated from Northwestern in 2003 and is in his fifth year as a Red Raider assistant. During his tenure at NWC, Schmidt lettered all four years of his wrestling career, was a two-time captain and three-time national tournament qualifier. He earned All-American honors his senior year ('03).

Schmidt currently teaches eighth grade science and coaches JH football at Sioux Center Middle School. His wife, Kristy, a 2004 NWC graduate and four-year letter winner in women’s basketball, works in sales at Civco in Orange City.
