Three Red Raiders Claim GPAC Honors

Three Northwestern College players earned all-conference honors as announced by the GPAC office earlier today. 

Both Valerie Robinson and Daniela Lozano claimed honorable mention all-conference honors in singles play. Robinson, a senior from Vermillion, S.D., totaled a team-high nine wins, going 9-8 at the #2 singles' spot this year. She closed her career with a 35-16 all-time record, second most wins in program history. Robinson is now a three-time all-conference pick in singles play.

Lozano, a junior from Bogota, Columbia, posted a 7-10 record playing in the top singles' spot in the line-up. Lozano, also an all-conference pick last year, owns a 21-15 overall record in singles' play.

Robinson and McKayla Johnson (Sioux Falls, S.D.) received all-conference honors in doubles play. The pair led the Red Raiders with a 5-5 record at the #2 doubles spot. Robinson finishes with a 31-21 combined record in doubles while Johnson moves to 18-24 overall.

Northwestern finished seventh in GPAC play with a 2-6 record, 4-13 overall.
