NWC Hosts Prairie Wolves

Northwestern (3-7-1, 1-1-1) hosts Nebraska Wesleyan (6-3-1, 2-1) on Saturday in a 5:00 pm kickoff at the NWC Soccer Complex. NWC has not been beat in their last three matches. Nebraska Wesleyan has won their last two matches after a three match winless streak.

Scouting Nebraska Wesleyan

The Prairie Wolves have out-scored their opponents 23-8 this season and have taken 169 while allowing 96. 91 of NWU's shots have been on goal and they have allowed 53 shots on goal. Shannon Surber leads the attack with six goals and 13 points. Makensie Thaller is second on the team with nine points and four goals. Rachael Graves has made four assists to lead the team.

Madi Francis has started all ten games for NWU as the goalkeeper. She has allowed six goals and has made 40 saves. She currently has picked up three shut-outs and has a goals against average of 0.640.

She is third in the GPAC in goals scored and is tied for second in points. Madison Bertman has scored three goals this season, Mattie Ostrowski and Jahdai Dunk have each scored twice. Ostrowski has a team best five assists. Farr has collected four assists and is second on the team. 

Goalkeeper Naomi Schimmel has started seven of NWC's 11 matches. She has allowed 16 goals and has made 37 saves and has a record of 3-3-1. Jennifer Inge has made four starts in goal and has allowed 14 goals and made 34 saves.
