Northwestern Hosts Presentation Today

Northwestern (1-7) hosts Presentation (2-5) today in a non-conference women's soccer match-up. The Red Raiders are looking to snap a five game losing streak while PC comes in with four losses in their last five matches.

Scouting Presentation

The Saints have been out-scored 17-10 this season but they have out-shot their opponents 121-105 and 80-64 in shots on goal. Amanda Ochoa leads PC with four goals and two assists. Karen Ponce has three goals while Brittney Cusick has scored twice. Cusick leads the team with 25 shots. Brooke Skuta and Allison Johnston have both seen action in goal. Johnston (three starts) has allowed five goals and has made 19 saves while Skuta (four starts)has allowed 12 goals and has made 26 saves.

Presentation has allowed 32 corner kicks and has forced 22.

The Saints are 1-2 against GPAC schools this season, losing to Dordt (3-1) and Midland (3-1) and defeating Mt. Marty (2-1).

Scouting Northwestern

Northwestern has been out-scored 25-9 this season and has been out-shot 143-89 and 77-41 in shots on goal. The Red Raiders have been led offensively by Tyler Farr and Mattie Ostrowski. Farr has a team best six goals while Ostrowski has a team high four assists. Madison Bertman has scored once and has two assists.

Naomi Schimmel and Jennifer Inge have both started four games in goal. Schimmel has allowed 11 goals and made 18 assists while Inge has allowed 14 goals and has made 32 saves.

The Red Raiders have allowed 64 corner kicks and have forced 13.

Northwestern travels to Doane on Saturday as they return to GPAC action.
