Northwestern (1-5) and Waldorf (1-5) face off tonight in the final match for the Red Raiders before the GPAC season starts. The Red Raiders are returning to the pitch after dropping their last three matches, including two this past weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Waldorf is currently on a three game losing streak and they have not scored a goal in their last three matches. They have been out-scored this season 14-5 and have been out-shot 110-63 including 60-35 in shots on goal. Brittney Thornton leads the team with three goals while Mia Crail and Madisen Haines have both scored once. Jennifer Geil leads the team with three assists while Crail has made two assists.
Kaylee Vitale has started all six games in goal and has made 41 saves while allowing 14 goals.
Northwestern has dropped their last three matches since defeating the Univ. of Northwestern. The Red Raiders have been out-scored 18-7 and have been out-shot 109-52 and 62-27 in shots on goal. Tyler Farr leads NWC with four goals scored. Madison Bertman, Jahdai Dunk, and Rachel Connelly have each scored once this season. Bertman and Mattie Ostrowski have each made two assists.
Northwestern starts the GPAC portion of their schedule on Saturday as they host Midland.
