Raiders Face Corban in Salt Lake City

Northwestern takes on Corban (Ore.) today in Salt Lake City after falling to Westminster (Utah) yesterday by the score of 4-0. 

Scouting Corban

Corban is currently 3-2-1 this season. They have scored seven goals and allowed four in six matches.Corban has out-shot their opponents 76-50 and 43-25 in shots on goal. Katelyn Fekkes has scored twice and leads the Warriors with four points. 

Sheyenne Brusven and Kaitlyn Mendenhall have both seen action in goal for Corban. Mendenhall has allowed two goals and has made 11 saves in four starts while Brusven has allowed two goals and made ten saves in two starts.

Scouting Northwestern

Northwestern has been out-scored 11-6 so far in 2014 and has been out-shot 76-48 including 40-24 in shots on goal. The Red Raiders have allowed 32 corner kicks and have forced eight. Northwestern is led offensively by Tyler Farr, who has scored four of the team's six goals. Jahdai Dunk and Rachel Connelly have scored the other two. Mattie Ostrowski and Madison Bertman have both made two assists.

Naomi Schimmel and Jennifer Inge both have started games in goal. Schimmel has made 13 saves and allowed seven goals in three starts while Inge has made 23 saves and allowed eight goals in two starts.

Northwestern will face Waldorf on Sept. 17 in Forest City, Iowa.
