Red Raiders and Bulldogs Face Off Today

Northwestern (6-6-2, 3-2-1) hosts Concordia (6-6-1, 2-3) today in a key GPAC match for both teams. Northwestern will be honoring the parents and seniors today at 2:30. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00pm.

Three Red Raiders have each scored three times and are tied for the team lead; Jahdai Dunk, Alissa Christoffer, and Alyssa Duren. Tyler Farr and Jo Jensen each have three assists to pace the offense. Farr and Duren each have seven points. Farr and Dunk lead NWC with 31 shots while Cristoffer has 26. Northwestern has been out-shot 220-193 this season but has outscored their opponenets 18-17.

Ariel Watts has made 100 saves while allowing 17 goals. She currently has a 1.18 goals against average and six shut-outs this season. Watts and the Raider defense hasn't allowed a goal in three matches.

Concordia has scored 27 goals this season on 189 shots. Rachel Mussell has a team best eight goalson 36 shots. Ashlie Sklenicka has scored four times and is second on the Bulldog roster. Sarah Winningham has made five assists this season and is first on the team. Concordia has out-shot their opponents 189-32 this season and has outscored them 27-19.

Two Bulldog keepers have seen significant time in goal; Byse Muhle and Chrissy Lind. Muhle has made 27 saves and allowed nine goals for a 1.71 GAA while Lind has made 26 saves and has allowed ten goals. She has a 1.38 GAA. 

Northwestern will travel to Dordt on Tuesday in their next GPAC match.
