Game Time...Second-ranked Northwestern looks to extend its win streak to 12 games when they play Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday, Dec. 7 in Lincoln, Neb. The Red Raiders are off to an 11-0 start to the season, 4-0 in the GPAC, while Nebraska Wesleyan is 0-3 in the GPAC, 1-5 overall. All-Time...Northwestern leads the all-time series 26-8 and has won 15 straight games against the Prairie Wolves, with the last loss coming in 1999-2000. 

Scouting NWU...The Prairie Wolves head into Saturday with an 0-3 league record, 1-5 overall. They opened the year with a road win over MacMurry (70-50) but have since lost five straight to Webster, Briar Cliff, Dakota Wesleyan, Central and Midland. 

Britni Fett is in her first season as the Wolves' head coach after spending the last two years as assistant at Lakeland College (Wis.). Fett inherits a NWU team that returns just one starter and three players off a 2012-13 team that went 1-19 in the GPAC, 3-22 overall. 

Nebraska Wesleyan averages 58 points per game this season, shooting 37% from the field and 21% from the three-point line. They have made 18 three-pointers in the six games played. Defensively, the Wolves are giving up 70 points per game and are outrebounded by a -7 margin.

Felicia TeKolste is the lone returning starter and scores15.5 points per game while shooting 45% from the field. Freshman Bucher scores 13.3 points and ranks second on the team in rebounding (4.7). Sophomore Courtney Cook averages nine points and a team-best seven rebounds per game while Mariah Tinn is the team's top three-pointer shooter with seven. 

Northwestern News and Notes...The Red Raiders are a perfect 4-0 in the GPAC, 11-0 overall, and moved up five spots in this week's NAIA coaches' poll. They are tied for second with Saint Francis (Ind.), trailing only defending champion Indiana Wesleyan in the poll. Northwestern has wins over five team currently ranked in the NAIA (DI and D-II) and has beaten Briar Cliff, Hastings, Morningside and Mount Marty in GPAC play. 

Northwestern is one of the top scoring and shooting teams in the NAIA, averaging 95.5 points per game and making 49% of its field goal attempts. They put in nearly six three-pointers per game and are shooting 36% from beyond the arc. The Red Raiders have dominated the boards all season, holding a +15 edge over their opponents. 

Karen Hutson leads a balanced scoring effort on offense, averaging 20.1 points per game. The junior is shooting 61% from the floor and pulls down 6.4 boards per game. Alli Engebretson scores 19.2 points per game and leads the team with 35 three-pointers, converting 43% of her attempts. Samantha Kleinsasser already has seven double-doubles this season and averages 15.7 points and nine rebounds per game. Mackenzie Small is the fourth player scoring in double figures, putting in 10.6 points per contest. 

Up Next...Northwestern will have a week off before hosting 10th-ranked Midland on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 2pm.
