Mike Power begins his sixth consecutive and 13th overall season as the Chargers' head coach. He is 234-164 all-time and has guided BCU to five national tournaments during his tenure, including three national semifinal appearances. Last year, Briar Cliff finished fourth in the GPAC with a 13-7 record and qualified for the national tournament where they lost to Indiana Wesleyan in the quarterfinals to finish 25-10. Two starters and 11 players return off last year's squad.
