The match-up between Mount Marty and Northwestern was a tale of two halves. The Red Raiders shot 52.2% from the floor in the first stanza and scored 31 points while the Lancers were 27.6% from the floor and scored 21 points. The second act was reversed as NWC put just 18 points on the board (21.1%) compared to MMC's 43 points (43.3%).
With the win, Mount Marty snapped a two-game league losing streak while Northwestern has now lost two straight loop contests, slipping to 15-6 overall and 8-3 in the conference.
Deb Remmerde led the Raiders with 15 points and seven rebounds. Jaime Hoegh added 14 points while Crystal Algood had four blocks.
Northwestern will have a week off before they host USF on Jan. 24 for a 6:00 p.m. contest.
