Erin Ogden (What Cheer, Iowa) has recently signed a letter of intent to play golf at Northwestern in the fall of 2009.
The daughter of John and Berdette, Ogden is a four-year letter winner for Tri-County High School. She recorded six top three finishes as a senior, including medalist honors three times. Ogden earned all-conference honors in both the 2008 and 2009 seasons. A member of the National Honor Society and class valedictorian, Ogden plans to major in chemistry at Northwestern.
“Erin is a great and welcome addition to our women’s golf team,” commented head coach Harold Hoftyzer. “She had a really strong senior year and experienced a great deal of success throughout her high school career. Erin is a hard worker and is extremely gifted in the classroom. I look forward to working with her over the next four years.”
