The Northwestern women's golf team competed in Hastings, Nebr. Friday September 7th at the Hastings College Invite. The Red Raiders finished in second place behind host Hastings College and ahead of six other schools. Paige Kleinwolterink finished in a tie for seventh place, shooting a 84, to pace Northwestern and Rachael Koenigsburg also finished in the top 10, tying for ninth with an 85. Carrie Spree shot a 87, Melissa Hisel a 88, and Kelsey Shiflett a 90 to round out the Raider five. Hastings College's Jenny Andrew shot a five over 77 to win the meet and teammate Samantha Meyer shot a 78, good for second place, for the team champion Broncos.
The Raiders will take the links again tomorrow at the GPAC Preview Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska.
