Amy Kallemeyn (Edgerton, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Northwestern College this fall. Kallemeyn is a 6’2” post player who red-shirted one season for NCAA D-I North Dakota State last year. A standout player and four- year letter winner who played for Edgerton High School, Kallemeyn earned first team all-conference four straight years. She scored 1,896 points and grabbed 1,111 rebounds during her career at Edgerton and shot better than 50% her final two seasons. Kallemeyn was also named to the Minnesota Ms. Basketball Team and was a 2006 Adidas All-American. The daughter of Craig and Susan, Kallemeyn will major in education or psychology at Northwestern. “Amy enjoyed an outstanding career at Edgerton High School and spent one season at NDSU as a red-shirt,” commented Head Coach Earl Woudstra. “We are extremely excited to have Amy join us at Northwestern and believe she can make an immediate impact in the post. We look forward to the contributions that Amy will make in our basketball program and on our campus.”
