Becca Hurley (Pleasant Hill, Iowa) was named one of 29 finalists for the WBCA State Farm Coaches' All-America Team as announced by the WBCA earlier today. The junior guard is one of five players selected from Region II, which includes Michelle Amundson (Mount Marty), Emily Bell (College of the Ozarks), Betsy Hildreth (USF) and Vanessa Munter (Doane). Hurley, a 2009 first team NAIA All-American, leads the Raiders averaging over 16 points, six rebounds and four assists per game.
The 2010 State Farm Coaches’ All-America Team for NAIA will be announced at the NAIA Division I Women’s Basketball Championship Banquet on March 16, 2010, at the Jackson Civic Center in Jackson, Tenn.
Northwestern begins NAIA D-II Tournament play on Thursday, March 11 at 1:45pm against Indiana University-Northwest. The Red Raiders are 26-5 overall.
