Head Coach Earl Woudstra earned Rawlings-NAIA Coach of the Year Honors after leading his team to the 2008 NAIA D-II Women's Basketball National
Championship. He was one of four coaches, each from a different division in the NAIA, who received the honor. Coach Woudstra led the Red Raiders to a school record 35 wins and their second national championship (2001). In his 14 years as head of the women's program, Coach Woudstra has a 311-124 overall record (.715) and is the winningest coach in the program. He has led his team to seven national tournament appearances and four Final Fours.
