Jan 7, 2008

Debbie Remmerde (Rock Valley, Iowa) earned GPAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season. The senior guard scored a game-high 28 points in the Red Raiders win over 12th-ranked Hastings College. Remmerde went 4-6 from beyond the arc, 9-15 from the floor and went a perfect 6-6 from the free throw line. She leads the NAIA averaging 29.3 points per game and needs just 65 more points to break the NAIA D-II all-time record for most points in a career (3,236 by Brittany Smart).

Northwestern improved to 14-1 overall and are ranked second in the last NAIA.
