Concordia at Northwestern

Northwestern defeated Concordia 3-0 in GPAC volleyball action Friday night. Individual game scores were 25-17, 25-16 and 25-14. The Red Raiders improved to 13-6 overall and remain undefeated (4-0) in the GPAC.

The Red Raiders hit .370 for the match (42 kills-92 attempts) and limited the Bulldogs to .080 (27 kills-87 attempts). Hillary Hanno and Randa Hulstein led the net play with 14 and 12 kills, respectively.  Rylee Hulstein and Bobbie jean Rich added five kills each and Karis Vink added two kills and tied for the team lead with three blocks. Kaitlin Beaver lofted up 33 assists and recorded four kills and nine digs. Janna Bloemendaal (12/12) and Rachel Gosselink (9/9) were perfect from the service line and Bloemendaal also added nine digs.
