Cassaundra De Bruin (George, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

DeBruin De Bruin is a 5’11” middle hitter who played for George-Little Rock High School. She led the Siouxland Conference in both blocks (1.3 per game) and kill percentage (.400%). De Bruin recorded 293 kills and served 95% as she helped lead her team to the regional finals and a 19-11 record her senior year. She earned third team all-state, first team all-district and first team all-conference honors. An outstanding student who earned Iowa Scholar honors and is a member of the honor roll, De Bruin plans to major in biology/health professions at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Tim and Sandi.

“Cassaundra finished up her high school career with a fantastic senior season,” commented Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She hits the ball well out of the middle and is an instinctive blocker. We are excited to have Cassaundra come and be part of our volleyball program and Northwestern campus community.”
