Shelby Schoon (Brandon, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Schoon is a 5’6” setter who played two seasons for O’Gorman High School. She ranks third all time at O’Gorman in assists and is fifth all-time in assists per season. Schoon served 96.2% for her career, second best all-time in school history. She earned South Dakota Volleyball Coaches Association Academic All-State honors and plans to major in business and history at Northwestern. Schoon is the daughter of Rob and Peggy.

“Shelby is a great fit for Northwestern,” commented Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She will provide depth at the setter position and are excited that she has decided to join the Red Raider volleyball program.”
