Kaitlyn Asmus (Mitchell, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Asmus is a 5’7” defensive specialist who played three years for Mitchell Christian High School. Asmus earned second team all-conference honors and was named the team’s most valuable player after totaling 155 kills, 164 digs and 33 ace serves as a senior. For her career, Asmus totaled over 100 aces and was a member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society. She plans to major in English at Northwestern and is the daughter of Mike and Debbie.
“Kaitlyn is a good athlete who is just scratching the surface of her potential on the volleyball court,” stated Northwestern volleyball coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She is a great fit for our team and campus community. We are excited to welcome Kaitlyn to Northwestern College.”
