Red Raiders Earn Votes In Final NAIA Coaches' Poll

Northwestern College earned votes in the final NAIA volleyball coaches' poll-postseason version of the 2016 season. 

The Red Raiders totaled 33 points and ended the season 32nd in the national poll, one of six teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC), recognized in the Dec. 7 postseason poll.

After winning the national championship last weekend, Hastings is ranked first, followed by national runner-up Dordt and Midland, who reached the national semifinals. Doane (12th) and Morningside (24) are the other GPAC teams in the poll.

Northwestern College finished fifth in the GPAC with a 10-6 record, 18-17 overall.
