Koneck to Play Volleyball at Northwestern

Molly Koneck (Omaha, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.Koneck

Koneck is a 5’6” setter who lettered four years for Omaha Bryan High School. The two-time team captain earned honorable mention all-state honors as a junior and senior. Koneck ranked fifth in Class A with 834 assists as a senior and also totaled 205 digs, 85 kills, 51 blocks and 32 ace serves. She was a key member of her team that qualified for the state tournament for the first time in school history her junior year. Koneck helped her team to a 24-10 record as a senior. For her career, Koneck lofted up 1,952 assists and served 104 aces. Koneck was selected to play in the Nebraska Senior All-State volleyball game as one of the top 24 senior volleyball players in the state. She is the daughter of Amelia Koneck.

“Molly is a good setter who has a lot of experience playing high school and club volleyball,” commented Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “Molly has been involved in a variety of activities and has been a leader in everything she does. We are excited that Molly has decided to join the Northwestern College volleyball family.”
