Ulferts To Play Volleball at NWC Next Year

Cassandra Ulferts (Prinsburg, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Ulferts, the daughter of Chad and Sonia, is a 5’9” setter/outside hitter who played for Central Minnesota Christian High School. She recorded a team-best 254 kills for her team that finished with a 20-10 overall record. Ulferts also led the team with 281 assists and ranked second in both service aces (30) and digs (209). She earned all-conference honors this season and was a member of the Class A Minnesota State All-Tournament Team in 2006. An honor roll student, Ulferts plans to major in nursing at Northwestern.

Cassie has the ability to play a number of different positions for us and we are excited to have Cassie join our volleyball family.”
