Cassandra Ulferts (Prinsburg, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Ulferts, the daughter of Chad and Sonia, is a 5’9” setter/outside hitter who played for Central Minnesota Christian High School.
She recorded a team-best 254 kills for her team that finished with a 20-10 overall record. Ulferts also led the team with 281 assists and ranked second in both service aces (30) and digs (209). She earned all-conference honors this season and was a member of the Class A Minnesota State All-Tournament Team in 2006. An honor roll student, Ulferts plans to major in nursing at Northwestern.
“Cassie is the type of player and person we strive to have at Northwesern,” commented Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She has a real passion for the game of volleyball and for Christ. Cassie has the ability to play a number of different positions for us and we are excited to have Cassie join our volleyball family.”
