Megan Meyer, a senior outside hitter from Aplington, Iowa, earned all-region volleyball honors for her play this season. Meyer led the Red Raiders in kills (3.6 per game) and ranked second in digs (3.6 per game). She hit .245 this season and also earned GPAC Player-of-the-Year honors. Meyer will rank in the top 10 all-time in several statistical categories, including kills, kills per game, digs and digs per game.
Meyer is one of two seniors on a Red Raider squad that is 28-10 and is seeded 10th at the 2007 NAIA Volleyball Championship. Northwestern will begin pool play on Wednesday, Nov. 28 against Westminster (Utah).
