The Northwestern College volleyball team earned one of the five at-large bids and have qualified for the 2007 NAIA National Volleyball Championship. This year's event will be played in Columbia, Mo., hosted by Columbia College and will begin on Nov. 28. Pool assignments and tournament schedule will be announced tomorrow afternoon.
The Red Raiders just completed regional play where they lost to 11th-ranked National American in the championship game, 3-1. Northwestern, the regional runner-up, came out of pool play with a 1-1 record and then defeated Dickinson State in a one game playoff, 30-24, to advance to the championship match. They are now 28-10 overall.
