Dec 6	Hulstein Earns All-Tournament Honors Randa Hulstein earned all-tournament honors at the 2009 NAIA Volleyball National Championship as announced by the NAIA on Saturday, Dec. 5. The event was played at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
Dec 6	Three Raiders Earn NAIA All-American Honors Three members of the Red Raider volleyball team earned All-American honors as announced by the NAIA late Saturday night. Randa Hulstein, Kaitlin Beaver and Hillary Hanno all received the national honor.

Dec 5	Raiders Fall to Lee 3-1 in the National Quarterfinals Third-ranked Northwestern lost to Lee (Tenn.) 3-1 in the quarterfinal round of the 2009 NAIA volleyball national championship. Individual game scores were 25-20, 25-12, 26-28 and 25-15.
Dec 4	Raiders to Face Lee (Tenn.) in Quarterfinals Third-ranked Northwestern takes on 19th-ranked Lee University (Tenn.) tonight at 8:00pm in the quarterfinals of the 2009 NAIA volleyball national championship. The Red Raiders are 36-2 overall
Dec 3	Raiders Advance to the Elite Eight Third-ranked Northwestern defeated 10th-ranked Biola 3-0 (28-26, 25-20, 25-16) in the final pool play match-up for both teams. With the win, the Red Raiders, now 36-2 overall and 3-0 in pool C, advance to the quarterfinal round for the third straight year.

Individual game scores were 15-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-19 and 15-12.

In addition, Kyle Van Den Bosch was named Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season.

The Raiders earned one of the 27 automatic qualifier berths by way of their GPAC regular season championship.
