Sapp begins her second season as part of the Red Raider coaching staff with primary responsibilities with the junior varsity team. She coached three years at the high school level, one season at Ontario Christian (Calif.) before a two-year stint at Rock Valley Community High School.

Sapp is a graduate of Dordt College where she played two years for the Defenders. She then served as the student assistant coach her final two seasons.

“I enjoyed my first season with the Red Raiders. It is a very successful program with outstanding coaches,” commented Sapp. “It is my goal to show our players that their relationships with each other and with Christ are the things they will take with them the rest of their lives.”

Sapp works at the Sioux County Sheriff’s office. Her husband, John, is employed at Vision Builders in Sioux Center. They have a daughter, Kaedyn, who turned one this summer.
