Schweitzer to Join Red Raider Volleyball Program

Kylee Schweitzer (Strang, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her volleyball career at Northwestern College next fall.Schweitzer

Schweitzer, the daughter of Steve and Lisa, is a 5’8” setter/outside hitter who earned four letters while playing for Shickley Public School. She recorded 299 kills, 112 blocks, 821 assists and 815 digs as she helped lead her team to a 14-12 record during her senior year. Schweitzer also served 92% with 82 aces. She earned all-conference, fourth team All-Trib land and Omaha World Herald honorable mention honors. An honor roll student and member of the National Honor Society, Schweitzer plans to major in physical therapy at Northwestern.

“Kylee is a versatile athlete who has the ability to play several different positions,” commented Head Coach Kyle Van Den Bosch. “She comes from a very strong program and was the setter for her state championship team as a sophomore. We are glad Kylee has decided to continue her volleyball career and education at NWC.”
