NWC Rolls Past USF in GPAC Volleyball Action

Northwestern won their fourth consecutive match with a 3-0 win at USF last night. Individual game scores were 30-22, 30-11 and 30-20. With the win, the Red Raiders improve to 14-5 overall, 2-1 in the conference.

Northwestern never trailed in the match and hit .276 for the three games. Hillary Hanno led the way with 14 kills and an impressive .522 for the match. Megan Meyer and Kaitlin Beaver recorded 12 and 11 kills, respectively. Rachel Gosselink put up 43 assists and served two aces while Janna Bloemendaal was a perfect 13/13 from the service line and also recorded a team-high 14 digs.

The Red Raiders will continue conference play with a pair of matches on the road against Concordia (Neb.) on Friday night and #19 Hastings on Saturday night. Northwestern moved up one spot to 14th in this week's NAIA rating.
