Jerel Kyles (Mentone, Calif.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next year. He has already committed to play football for the Red Raiders in the fall.

Kyles is a 5’9” sprinter who lettered three years for the Redlands East Valley High School track and field team. He was voted the team’s most valuable athlete in 2009 and boasts personal bests of 10.9 in the 100m and 22.4 in the 200m. Kyles was an honor roll student and plans to major in computer science at Northwestern. He is the son of Nicole.

“Jerel is an outstanding athlete who experienced great success last spring,” commented head coach Nate Wolf. “He will provide an instant impact in the sprint events. I’m excited he has chosen to continue his track and field career at Northwestern.”
