Jayme Rozeboom (Rock Rapids, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College this year. Rozeboom is a 6’3” sprinter who lettered four years for West Lyon High School. He qualified for state as both a junior and senior and helped lead his team to a second place finish at the state meet his senior year. Rozeboom ran as a member of the second place distance medley team and fifth place 4x100 and 4x200 relays. He also qualified for the open 100m as a senior. As a junior, Rozeboom placed fourth at the state meet in the 4x200 relay. He earned all-conference honors two years and is also a member of the National Honor Society. The son of Jay and Carol, Rozeboom will also play football for the Red Raiders and plans to major in elementary education at Northwestern. “I’m excited Jayme has decided to continue his running at Northwestern,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “He is an outstanding athlete who will provide depth in the sprint events. I believe Jayme will have an instant impact on our team in the spring.”
