Adam Verhoef (Pella, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field and cross country careers at Northwestern College this fall.

Verhoef is a 6’3” distance runner who lettered three years for Pella High School. He earned team most valuable runner honors as a senior and boasts a personal record of 16:37 in the 5000m. Verhoef will also be a member of the Red Raider cross country team in the fall. An outstanding student who was named Academic All-State, Verhoef plans to major in biology and chemistry at Northwestern. He is the son of Harry and Linda.

“Adam is a great addition to our track and cross country squads,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “He is a hard worker and has the potential to be a quality college distance runner. Adam will push for a top five spot on the cross country squad in the fall.”
