Stacey Dietrich (Victor, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Dietrich is a 5’6” sprinter/hurdler who lettered four years for the HLV track and field team. She earned all-conference honors and qualified for state four straight years. As a freshman, Dietrich placed seventh in the open 400 and was a member of a sprint medley team that placed fourth. She placed fifth as a member of the sprint medley team as a sophomore and was also a member of the fifth place shuttle hurdle relay team as a junior. Dietrich boasts personal bests of 59.22 in the 400 and 15.3 in the 100m hurdles. A member of the National Honor Society, Dietrich plans to major in elementary education at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Todd and Denise.

“I’m very excited Stacey has decided to join our track and field squad next year,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “She is a talented athlete who will compete well in the sprints and hurdles. I look for her to specifically make an impact in the 100m hurdles and the open 400.”
