Matthew Sandbulte (Sioux Center, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next year. He also will be a member of the Red Raider football team in the fall as announced in an earlier press release. Sandbulte is a 6’1” sprinter who ran four years for Sioux Center High School. He was part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams that qualified for state in 2007. Sandbulte has posted career-best times of 11.3 in the 100m and 23.2 in the 200m. He will major in computer science at Northwestern and is the son of Tom Sandbulte and Deb Zeutenhorst. “I’m excited that Matt has decided to join our track squad,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “He comes from a very successful high school program and will compete in the sprints and relays for us. Matt is a great addition to our sprint crew.”
