Danielle Fry (Fairfield, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next year.

Fry earned four letters as a thrower for the Fairfield High School track and field team. She placed fourth at the state meet in the discus as a junior. Fry, who also qualified for the Drake Relays, is the school’s record holder in the discus with a toss of 131’2”. An outstanding student who is a member of the National Honor Society and earned Academic All-State honors, Fry plans to major in athletic training at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Greg and Lori.

“I’m very excited Danielle has decided to be a Red Raider next year,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “She is an outstanding athlete with great potential. Danielle will compete in the discus, hammer and weight throw for us next year.”
