Northwestern Signs Nebraska Standout

Jameson Rexilius (Lincoln, Neb.) has signed letters of intent to continue his football and track and field careers at Northwestern College.

Rexilius is a 6’3”, 180-pound wide receiver and cornerback who played four years for Lincoln Christian High School. He helped lead his team to a 5-4 record and earned both all-district and all-conference honors. The son of Robb and Beth, Rexilius was on the honor roll and a member of the National Honor Society.

“We are looking forward to Jameson join our football team,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He has very good speed and excellent hands as a receiver. Jameson will be a welcome addition to our receiving corps.”

Rexilius lettered four years as a sprinter and jumper for the Lincoln Christian track and field team. He boasts personal bests of 51.8 in the 400m and 20’4” in the long jump.

 “Jameson is an outstanding athlete,” commented Head Track and Field Coach Nate Wolf. “He has the potential to be a very good 400m runner. I look for him to make an instant impact on our team next spring.”
