Moore to Run Track, Play Football at NWC

Parker Moore (Lincoln, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football and track and field careers at Northwestern College next fall.

Mooreis a 5’10”, 175-pound running back/cornerback who played three years for Lincoln Christian High School. He earned first team all-district and all-conference honors last year. Moore plans to major in business marketing at Northwestern.

“Parker is a welcome addition to our football program,” commented Head Coach Orv Otten. “He is a versatile player with very good speed. Parker has many skills as an offensive player that will allow him to play either running back or wide receiver for us.”

A four-year letter winner for the Lincoln Christian track and field team, Moore was part of a 4x100 relay team that finished in second place at the state meet. He boasts personal bests of 11.2 seconds in the 100m and 23.7 seconds in the 200m. Moore is the son of Brian and Debbie.

“Parker is a great athlete who comes from a successful high school program,” commented Head Coach Nate Wolf. “He will compete in the short sprints and relays for us. It is great that Parker has decided to join our program.”
