The Great Plains Athletic Conference announced the 2008 Indoor Track and Field honors and Charity Miles and Head Coach Nate Wolf earned season honors. Miles, a freshman from Thedford, Neb., earned the Most Outstanding Performance-of-the-Meet accolades for her performance at the GPAC championships this past weekend. She won both the 3000m and 5000m, setting new conference records in both events. Miles finished the 3000m in 10:09.96 and the 5000m in 17:41.24, both of which were school records as well. She will join 12 other Red Raider athletes at the NAIA Indoor Championships held in Johnson City, Mo. on March 6-8.
Wolf, in his fifth season with the Red Raider track and field team, earned GPAC Women's Coach-of-the-Year honors. Both the top Performances-of-the-Meet and Coach-of-the-Year honors were voted on by the league track coaches.
