Laura Jacobson earned GPAC Women's Track Athlete of the Week honors for her efforts last week. The senior from Galva, Iowa, won the 600m run at the Dordt College Invite with a new meet record time of 1:37.13. She currently has the fastest time in the event in the GPAC and ranks sixth in the NAIA. In addition to the 600m run, Jacobson has qualified for nationals in the 800m and 1000m runs.
This marks the third straight week that a Red Raider athlete(s) has earned the women's GPAC honor (Olivia Johnson, Distance Medley of Johnson, Jacobson, Jess Regan and Charity Miles).
