Courtney Goeldner (Clive, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College for the 2008-09 season. The daughter of Todd and Lorna, Goeldner is a 5-7 catcher who plays for Des Moines Christian High School. Last year as a junior, Goeldner batted .333 with six doubles and three triples for a team that finished fifth at the 2007 State Tournament with a 38-3 overall record. She earned second team all-conference honors and was voted the defensive player-of-the-year for the third straight season.
