Glory Benson (Arvada, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College. Glory

Benson is a 5’5” outfielder who lettered four years while playing for Faith Christian Academy. She batted .390 with three doubles and two home runs as she helped lead her team to a third place finish at the state tournament. Benson earned all-conference honors in both her junior and senior years and all-state accolades her junior year. She was also named to the Colorado Coaches Girls Softball All-State Team her senior year. A member of the National Honor Society, Benson plans to major in business at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Doug and Catherine.

“Glory is a great outfielder who will add depth to our outfield and strength to our offense,” commented Head Coach Melanie Mason. “She is a very good player who will be a great fit for the Northwestern Softball team and the Northwestern campus.”
