Kami Kuhlmann (Charter Oak, Iowa) has signed letters of intent to continue her basketball and softball careers at Northwestern College next year.

The daughter of Mark and Kelley, Kuhlmann is a 5-8 pitcher and infielder for the Charter Oak-Ute softball team. She batted .496 with 12 doubles and five home runs and also recorded 27 stolen bases. On the mound, Kuhlmann boasted a 24-13 record with a 0.930 ERA and helped lead her team to a 24-19 record and district championship. She struck out 378 batters and walked just 37 in 247 2/3 innings pitched. Kuhlmann earned first team all-state and all-conference honors for two straight years and first team all-district honors in 2007. She is a member of the National Honor Society and earned the Citizenship Award three years.
