Cameron and Kayli Turner (Ogden, Iowa) have signed letters of intent to continue their softball careers at Northwestern College.

Cameron Turner is currently a sophomore at Northwestern and will join the Red Raider softball team as an outfielder after not playing her freshman year. As a senior at Ogden High School, Cameron hit .217 with nine runs scored and three RBIs. She also recorded eight stolen bases in 31 games played.

“We are pleased that Cameron has decided to join the Red Raider softball team,” commented assistant coach Dave Hulsart. “She will add depth to our outfield positions. Cameron is a hard worker and will continue to be a positive influence on the Northwestern campus.”

Kayli Turner is a sophomore infielder who comes to the Red Raiders after playing one year for College of the Canyons (Calif.). In nine games last season, Kayli hit .273 with three runs scored and recorded an on-base percentage of .384. They are the daughters of Mark and Jolette.

“Having a year of college softball under her belt will help Kayli as she joins the team as an infielder this season,” commented Hulsart. “We are excited to have her come to Northwestern and join our team and campus community.”
